Giant Fucking Rabbits

North Korea to get giant rabbits to boost meat production. I mean look at the size of this thing!
In the words of Anya ... Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes, They've got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses. And what's with all the carrots-? What do they need such good eyesight for anywa - y? Bunnies, bunnies it must be bunnies! So beware North Korea ... You may have gotten more than you bargained for. Or maybe that's our plan....

Quote of the day

"With this record I feel a lot less concerned about what people think about it — especially the dying record industry. I couldn't care less about that right now." -- Trent Reznor, talking to UK mag Kerrang! about NIN upcoming album Year Zero.

LiteSwitch X

If you use a bunch of OS X apps that don't normally ever need to be alt-tab'ed to you should take a look at the utility called LiteSwitch X. It replaced the standard alt-tab of OS X with a somewhat smarter one. LiteSwitch X allows you to hide programs from the alt-tab display so you don't have to end up alt-tabbing over programs like quicksilver, isync, etc.

Clearing the DNS cache on OS X

I need to test websites a lot ... and it's usually after I change DNS entries. But changing the entries, restarting the server, restarting the caching name servers didn't do anything when on Zifnab (my MBP). After a little digging I found that you need to clear OS X's dns cache . To do so run 'lookupd -flushcache'. Just like on Windows ('ipconfig /flushdns') or Linux if your using nscd ('sudo /etc/init.d/nscd restart' - probably depends on distro).

Some Mac OSX apps I need to take a look at.
