lol. my jruby problems were caused by a require bug in my code. Basically a 1.8.X vs 1.9.X difference.

@jordansissel What was that Java debugger/visualizer you mentioned?
@dnsimple I have 8 contacts that are me. Not sure how that happened. Any simple workflows to consolidate them all to just one?
bundling. It's the new compiling.

Wireless out at EY. Time to leave
switched to 1.9.2 and re-bundled .. no hang
hmm I think this may be a jruby bug ... of maybe it's an ffi <-> jruby interaction
dammit. Now I'm closing the socket and terminating the context, but it's still hanging.
good god. That wasn't a salad. It was a piece of chicken with a few leaves of lettuce.
Basically, where do I call #terminate on the context? http://bit.ly/eFmqUM #zeromq #contrivedexample
Is there an opposite of initialize in ruby? i.e. something that get's called before an object is GC'd ?
Yep. I didn't call #close on the socket.
My guess. The socket isn't being closed.
I am assuming a thread isn't shutting down. Oh and it start happening after I allocate a socket, not just a context.
Why do I need to Ctrl-C out of any code using a ZeroMQ context/socket ?
@dpiddee @asenchi this mornings commute was, at times, like that Russian video. Sans the wheelies. Plus tagging off another bike.
Vroom vroom time. #2wo
Hmmm. Looks like I really want to be using jruby.
some jack ass tried to torq the chain on my bike apart using the bike and pole it was chained to. Broke my helmet and almost broke the chain

I guess I should just mock it.
And no, I don't consider mocking a viable alternative.
