Settled in comfort, the beast headed towards my final destination for the eve, I bid you all good night. PS I hope this wasn't too annoying.

A large yellow beast arrives and I seat myself within it's large and boxy frame. "To Natomas, ho!", I command it.

Utilizing magics beyond comprehension I call forth into the ether invoking the need for a pickup. The ether answers, "5-9 minutes."

Unable to locate said beast, I wish my fellow travelers adue and head out into the night, searching for a likely spot for cab summoning.

Having retrieved my belongings I cast about for the yellow and black beasts of burden.

Exhausted the travelers disembark, jostling for position to claim our wayward belongings from within the bus' inards.

Into the heart of the river city we dive. Our driver deftly executes a few turns and we quickly find ourselves at our destination.

Our bus, sounding as weary as we feel, pulls off the byways that have carried us to our destination.

It's tall buildings jutting up into the sky, like the fingers of fallen giants thrust up towards heavens.

The lights! We can see the lights of Sacramento on the horizon!

Drifting through Davis, our thoughts turn towards those we've strived for so long to see. Our friends, our families. Do they think us lost?

Emerging from the expanse, we solemly pass by the temple of knowledge and learning that is UC Davis.

The lights of Dixon loom on the horizon, our last bastion of humanity before the endless expanse that leads us to Davis.

Ignoring the angry red glare of traffic lights, our courageous driver fights his way to route 80, taking a different path to our destination

Stopping in exotic Fairfield, we search for other marooned passengers. But alas, none are to be found. Distraught, we continue our journey.

The grey green cabin light matches our mood as the 3 score miles before us roll by, interrupted periodicly by a jolt of uneven pavement.

The haunting glow of our buss' headlights blaze our trail across the treacherous expanse of route 680.

The valiant driver, the rumble of the chariot's engine, our constant companion, charted a perilous course to distant Sacramento.
